To fill the position, IHI has hired Agnes Hoeberling, a senior industry executive with extensive experience in workers’ compensation and property/casualty insurance, third party claims management, managed care, and related programs and services.

Before accepting the position with IHI, Ms. Hoeberling was most recently Senior Vice President, Western Region and Managed Care Services for Cambridge Integrated Services, a national third party administrator (TPA). She oversaw TPA operations for the company’s Western Region, over 55,000 pending claims in multiple states, and managed care services nationwide, while exceeding revenue and profitability goals. Hoeberling has over twenty five years experience in the industry, and has worked with insurance carriers, brokerage houses, third party administrators, managed care companies and self-insured groups.

“We immediately identified Agnes as a leading candidate because of her accomplishments and sterling reputation,” said Mike Ramser, President of both divisions. “She has the experience and performance record that will enable our operations to grow and expand smoothly into other states,” Ramser continued.

Ms. Hoeberling assumed her new role as of November 1, 2005, and will be based out of the IHI corporate offices in Roseville. She will manage over 350 employees, 23,000 open claims, and an annual budget of $35 million. Ms. Hoeberling will also be responsible for the operation of several product lines including third party claims administration, managed care, nurse case management and bill review services. “I tend to focus on training, so that each individual is able to excel. If I’ve had success in this complex industry, it’s because I work hard to remove barriers and create productive environments. I’ve found that same philosophy here,” Hoeberling said.
