California Labor Code 129(b)(1) requires a routine Profile Audit Review (PAR) for locations adjusting California workers' compensation claims at least once every 5 years. This audit focuses on provision of indemnity and specific benefit advice for injured employees.
In 2012, the PAR Performance Rating required to pass the audit was 1.74514 or less; low performance ratings reflect good claims performance while high ratings reflect poor performance.
Intercare is proud to announce that not only did we pass the 2012 PAR audits, but our Pasadena office recieved one of the best scores in the industry at 0.55458! The DWC Audit Unit will publish 2012 audit scores and rankings in their annual audit report, which is expected to be posted on the DWC Audit Unit's website later this year.
