Intercare provides our clients with an ADR option. An ADR or “carve-out” is an optional program that allows only unions to create alternatives to the traditional worker’s compensation system. The carve-out agreement is negotiated separate and apart from the current or negotiated collective bargaining agreement. ADR’s are called “carve-outs” because those employers/employees are carved out from the state workers compensation system.
